Wish me luck!

I am going to a preview weekend but it's really not during the weekend.... anyways. I will be gone and living in a dorm with a complete stranger for 3days/2nights. I'm testing the water at Azusa Pacific University. I'm actually nervous I haven't been nervous until a little bit ago.
So I will definitely take pictures and show off the potential school (I hope I get ACCEPTED).
I'm also hoping that I make lots of friends and continue being friends so if I do attend in the fall I'll know people.

My Mommy

Today is my Mommy's birthday.

I cannot reveal her age.
She gets to celebrate Easter and her birthday
(the next time her birthday and Easter will be on the same day is in a couple thousand years).

I was just looking at pics. on my computer and noticed how BIG Monty is now. I knew he was all grown up but look at how little he was.

Not to brag but, my teacher told me to start a portfolio (in front of everyone in the class and I'm the only one he said that to). He also said that if anyone asks he taught me all I know about photography (truth be told I just point, focus, and shoot.
I know that they aren't the best but I at least try.

Spring Cleaning

I feel like I have been busy all day long! I've been cleaning my room since noon, and needed a break! I don't understand why I can't just put my clothes away when they are all freshly clean and folded. I wait weeks before hanging up clothes or puting them in the dresser. Clothes are a passion of mine I LOVE clothes, and have probably more than I need but I do wear all of them... not all at once (although that would be funny!) Most of cleaning my room consisted of was throwing stuff away, and dusting, vacuuming, puting clean sheets on my bed, etc....

I feel like a busy bee....

Photography ( a new hobby of mine)

I found something that I'm actually good at, photography. It has made me look at the world in a different light and I love it! I'm taking a photography class and its all black and white film. Today I developed film and had enough time to develope a print of a "Camellia" (on my own thank you very much). I also took a picture of a "Pile of Bricks", of a "Tulip" the first to bloom, and the "Steep Roof" of my house.

I'll try to keep you posted with new photos but for now enjoy the art.

St. Patricks Day

How did I go a whole day without getting pinched? I forgot today was St. Patty's Day, I happened to not wear any green and haven't gotten pinched. People have even commented me on not wearing any green! I can at least say that I ate corned beef and cabbage for dinner and it was yummy! I wish I could have celebrated the right way, but I will definitely be celebrating next year.Erin Go Braugh!

Nick

I have been dog sitting for a couple days and will be for a few more. Nick (the dog) was one of Riley's (my sister's dog (a Jack Russell)) puppies from her first litter ;(Oscar(r.i.p.) our mini Dachshund, got Riley pregnant, and that is how we got the Jacked up Weenies. We had named the litter of three Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, and Jose` Cuervo. "Jim" is now Nick because he was a Christmas present to a close family friend who lives two doors down the road from us.
Nick is seriously one of the craziest dogs I have ever met,(my family has 4 Jack Russells), he plays died and plays cowboys and indians (you pretend to shoot him with your fingers and he drops to the ground) he is hyper beyond belief. He is so cute!
The picture is of Nick and I when he was maybe 3 weeks old... we used to take naps together.

Must See Movie

If you have not yet seen August Rush, you need to. This movie was inspiring that miracles do happen. A young boy put up for adoption at birth was determined to find his parents through music. This bone chilling, tear jerking movie needs to be viewed by everyone according to me.

So get some popcorn popping and cuddle up on the couch be prepared to be amazed.

Quilting Guru

Today was nice My mom and I went to a quilt show; we ooooed and awwwwwed all the exhibitor's quilts we were so impressed by some that we looked at them more than a handful of times. I forgot my camera this time, I'm kicking myself for the fact. At theshow both my mom and I won raffle prizes we weren't so impressed and wished we had won something else but we picked what we wanted from the booths and moved on. WE DID FIND THE COOLEST THING THOUGH. It's this stencil looking thing and you cut out your fabric and then fold the fabric where the stencil shows, anyways it makes a cute decorative border/binding thing. Needless to say I had fun!
